Circus Starr are once again excited to be returning to Exeter!
On a mission to help vulnerable and disadvantaged children make magical memories, the charity is holding their annual community event thanks to the kind support of local businesses.
Their performances are accessible, inclusive, and held especially for children who have disabilities and additional learning needs.
This years show seeโs the Circus Starr troupe journey under the sea! Ringmistress Mariska Gandey heads up the magical adventure, alongside hilarious clown Edy and the colourful Starr Squad. This sensory performance is full of mesmerising circus skills from juggling to BMX tricks.
Circus Starr strives to create an environment that welcomes children no matter what their circumstances may be. Each event provides a British Sign Language Interpreter, has toned down lights, a lower volume and is a relaxed performance.
And thatโs not all, every ticket to the show is free thanks to the generous support of community-driven businesses. Without their generous donations the charity wouldnโt be able to make a difference with their unique event.
Michelle Crossley, Circus Starr Trustee, is happy to return to the area. โEveryone at Circus Starr is so excited to be back with a wonderful new show! Seeing the impact that our event can have on children who usually miss out on attending these kinds of events is truly amazing. We would like to thank all of the businesses that help make our performance possible, we really couldnโt do it without you.โ
ย This yearโs show will be held at Exeter Corn Exchange on Tuesday 15th September with performances at 4.45pm & 7pm.
